Training and multiplying Christian media professionals lies at the heart of our mission. We are passionate about helping believers become effective communicators of the Gospel; ones who can contribute to the crucial need for new, culturally relevant and biblically sound media. That is why we created Kairos Academy.
The word “Kairos” is of Greek origin, and in Christian theology, Kairos represents divine timing or a moment when God intervenes in human affairs or when significant events occur that have lasting implications. Therefore, at Kairos Academy, we believe God sends people to the Academy at the opportune moment of their lives; when they are most receptive to the teaching and training they receive. Our goal is to provide training in mass media & communications for believers from local churches in the Arab region. All applicants must be members of a local church and recommended by a local church leader. Our training is rooted in the Christian worldview, emphasizing media arts from a Christian perspective.

Students spend a full year at the Academy through a hybrid program where theoretical and practical concepts are taught in-person, and assignments given via the online component.
Because media is such a wide-ranging field, the Kairos Academy—besides its Film school—is planning to hold different schools that address specific media fields such as Radio, Social Media, Graphic Design, Photography, etc.
The Kairos Academy is held in a different country every year to make our schools accessible across the MENA region.
The Academy requires students to submit a graduation project through which students identify a social media need in their local church and implement the idea (with the assistance from a Kairos staff member). We seek to help the students develop in both technical skills and formation of content from a Christian worldview perspective.
