When Marian reached out to us, she shared that she was burdened with guilt for sins that must have upset God. After we shared about God’s love and forgiveness, Marian expressed her longing that God be the ultimate priority in her life. But she did not know where to start. We shared about the Father’s forgiveness through the story of the Prodigal Son — how there is a loving Father with open arms waiting for her. She was overjoyed, prayed, repented, and returned to the Lord — and she even joined one of our discipleship groups.

Is very excited about everything we share on our Me and My House page. He is also excited about discipleship and sharing the Gospel with others. He has shared the Gospel with his friends and is anticipating joining our discipleship groups with his friends.

Used to be a Unitarian Druze. He knew very little about Christianity. After we shared the Gospel with him, he accepted Christ! We encouraged him to read the Bible on his phone as he works and lives in difficult conditions.

A 31-year-old mother of two children who was diagnosed with stomach cancer, is undergoing chemotherapy, and is afraid of dying. We prayed with her and sought the Lord several times. We spoke with her personally over the phone to encourage her. She recently had a nuclear scan done, and the results were reassuring. We encouraged her to join one of our discipleship groups, and she was very excited to do so.

Struggled with trust issues with God because he had a car accident and experienced a lot of pain in life. Bassel shared that even though he was raised a Christian, he hated God since the accident. He shared that he was angry at God and viewed Him as unfair. We shared about God’s wisdom and sovereignty through pain, as well as about Christ and the cross. We prayed with him twice — the first time he felt encouraged, and the second time, he prayed, repented, and confessed his sins. We agreed to start reading the Gospel of John together.

Has a teenage son that she had trouble communicating with. We shared advice and sent her an article about adolescence and another about how Jesus obeyed His parents. She shares that our talks and articles made a big difference in the way she parented, and she began focusing on exemplifying obedience to her son. We also encouraged her to begin holding family devotional and prayer times.

Reached out to us via The Journey page, complaining that every time she tried to read the Bible, she would not be able to understand what she was reading. And so we decided to walk the path with her; asking her to read a particular passage and then spending time discussing it with her. We have been doing this consistently; we share passages such as the Sermon on the Mount, passages on love, on falling into sin, and she has been extremely responsive. She started to really enjoy reading the Bible, attests to its impact upon her life, and is anticipating joining one of our discipleship groups.

Who comes from a different religious background, reached out to us via The Journey. We shared the Gospel; who Christ is, what He said about Himself, that He is God, and Old Testament Messianic prophecies. We also talked about the result of sin, Christ as Savior, repentance, and forgiveness. After walking the journey with him, Jasim was convinced, shared that he did not want to waste any more of his life, and accepted Christ. He began reading Genesis and will soon begin reading the Gospel of Mark.
