The goal of this program is to discuss the different ways Jesus appears in the Old Testament, beginning with Genesis. The program addresses what it means for Jesus to be “the Word” as through whom God created the heavens and the earth. Also addressed is the role of Jesus, the Son of God, in God’s dealings with humanity. Key Bible verses such as Genesis 3:15 and John 1:1 will be studied, as well as Paul’s teaching in his letter to the Colossians, to highlight Jesus’ presence and significance from the beginning of creation.
